Europe-Asia Trade & Investments: Does distance matter?
The 1st day of EAMSA 2021 Conference in Poland. We had illuminative sessions, panels and discussions. Our special thanks went to Professor Marian Gorynia, Poznan University of Economics for his excellent keynote speech Are we facing the end of globalization? European & Asian Perspective. We took part in inspiring and interactive sessions with numerous high quality research presentations. We had great pleasure to listen to the panel discussion on Business Responsibility Towards Society and Environment, organized in cooperation with the Business Council (Faculty of Economics and Sociology, University of Lodz), coordinated by Ł. Koprowski (President of the Business Council, Director at PwC).
We spent the 2nd day of EAMSA 2021 Conference in great scientific atmosphere. Professor Krzysztof Wach, Cracow University of Economics, presented his excellent keynote speech entitled What are the recent and upcoming trends in international business research? We were under huge impression of all the Speakers, Panellists and Special Session Participants. Panel discussion with Investors from Asia & Europe on Attracting foreign investors to Poland was organized in cooperation with the Lodz Special Economic Zone. We hosted a unique special session on the 4th Industrial Revolution in IB Contexts coordinated by P. Capik (University of the West of England) & T. Danko (National Technical University, Kharkiv). Our great honour was to celebrate the EAMSA Awards Ceremony.
The final day of the Conference was also full of exciting sessions and events. We were under huge impression of the keynote speech by Professor Piotr Urbanek (University of Lodz), How to reform universities and let them remain universities? We had excellent Special Session on Management Geography coordinated by Rolf D. Schlunze (Ritsumeikan University), P. Pachura (Czestochowa University of Technology) & L. Suwala (Technische Universität Berlin). We experienced an excellent Virtual Guided Tour of Łódź: The Promised Land – City of 4 Cultures. We summarized the Conference at the EAMSA General Assembly.
